![]() ![]() ![]() Pam is married, has five children, and lives with her husband, Rick, in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, Kappa Xi Chapter. ![]() ![]() She has served Holy Family Parish in many capacities, including new church committee chair and capital campaign chair, Sacristan, Liturgist and Volunteer, and has served on the Saint Edward’s School Board of Education. Pam has served on numerous professional and community boards as a member and chair, including the Iowa Hospital Association, Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation Board, and HealthNet Connect Board. She was the recipient of the Mount Mercy University Distinguished Service Award in 2012 and a participant in the Success Follows alumni outcomes project. She earned her Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Iowa in 1997, with an emphasis on hospital and business administration. Pam earned her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing from Mount Mercy in 1984. She also served as an Assistant Professor. She successfully moved up through the ranks in healthcare from Director of Patient Care, to Managed Care Facilitator, to Clinical Integration Coordinator, and eventually to CEO. Pam Delagardelle began her career in healthcare as a nurse in 1983. Under Pam’s leadership, the hospitals and systems she’s managed have won numerous awards for safety, patient care and patient satisfaction. CEO, UnityPoint Health Allen Hospital, Waterloo, Iowa. Examples of unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to: breach of confidentiality, unsafe practices, falsification of records or documentation of hours, unexcused absences, improper/unethical clinical conduct, or sexual misconduct.Īny student giving evidence of clinical misconduct shall be subject to disciplinary action by Allen College. Students are responsible for their own behavior. Students are expected to behave in a professional manner in all clinical settings. If specific institutions request a copy of the statement, it will be duplicated and sent to the institution. The statement will include information specific to the legal and ethical issues related to confidentiality and will be filed in the students' academic folder at Allen College. Patient information cannot be replicated.ĭuring orientation, students will sign a confidentiality statement. As professionals, students are expected to keep confidential all information entrusted to them by clients and peers in all clinical settings.
